Bella’s birthday is coming up soon. The child needs new clothes. There is a sew along going on, and the first week’s challenge is to remake the Oliver & S Popover Dress. It’s a free download and a super easy pattern to sew along with.

I decided to keep it pretty simple, although I wanted to make it into a shirt, since we seem to get more use out of shirts versus dresses around here.
The stripe fabric is an old shirt of Jesse’s that I tried to adjust for myself but wasn’t happy with it, so I cut it out again and made it into a shirt for Bella.
I highly suggest you download the pattern and sew one up for a little girl in your life!
Cute accents. Love that you recycled an old shirt!
ReplyDeleteI love using recycled men's shirts. Then my granddaughters view it as a special outfit from both of us!

I'm a refashioning fan, and I love to see men's shirts as little girls' dresses or shirts. well done.
